What MealHax Does

MealHax helps you order smarter at chain restaurants. We show menu items, suggested hacks, nutrition estimates, and saved calorie totals. MealHax is an informational ordering tool, not a dieting app, diet plan, weight-loss program, meal-replacement plan, or medical advice.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the app: account details provided through Apple, Google, or email sign-in; saved hacks; app interactions such as restaurants visited or hacks saved; basic diagnostics; and a profile photo if you choose to upload one.

How We Use Information

We use account information to keep you signed in, saved hacks to show your calorie-savings history, and diagnostics to fix bugs and improve app quality. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service Providers

MealHax uses service providers to operate the app, including Clerk for authentication, Convex for database services, Apple and Google for sign-in, and hosting providers for app infrastructure. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.

Your Choices

You can sign out from Settings. Signed-in users can delete their MealHax account from Settings, which removes saved hacks and account data from active systems. You can also contact support from the app or through the support page.

Children

MealHax is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Nutrition Disclaimer

Calories, macros, and savings shown in MealHax are estimates. They may be based on restaurant nutrition data, ingredient swaps, similar menu items, similar meal groups, or reasonable estimates when exact information is not available. We do not guarantee that any number matches the exact meal served by a restaurant. Always verify nutrition information directly with the restaurant if accuracy matters.

If you have a medical condition, allergy, strict dietary requirement, are dieting, trying to lose weight, or making meaningful changes to how you eat, consult a physician, dietitian, or qualified health professional before relying on the app.
